My journey has been one of deep transformation, born from darkness and light. After a traumatic upbringing and years spent numbing my pain through substance abuse and working in the adult industry for 11 years, I found myself disconnected from my worth, my body, and my spirit. An intense spiritual awakening in 2017 changed everything.
Talk therapy played an important role in my path. But it was complementary, embodied practices that helped me process trauma more gently and reconnect with a deeper sense of presence. From this, A Journey Within was born: a guided meditation practice rooted in embodiment, energetic integration, and inner child healing.
Many of the patterns we carry into adulthood formed in moments when our younger selves lacked the safety to fully process what happened. Through guided meditation, I help people gently reconnect with those inner child parts, meet them with compassion, and begin to process what couldn't be felt at the time.
My years working in home health, long-term care, and hospice taught me how to show up for people across every stage of life, from their first breaths of healing to their last. That work shaped how I hold space today: with patience, presence, and deep respect for wherever someone is. And becoming a mother has taught me something different but connected, how to drop in with more compassion, playfulness, and gentleness, both with my son and with myself.
I believe that suffering, as painful as it is, can become a sacred teacher. My abusers, my addictions, my darkest moments, they became catalysts for liberation and radical self-forgiveness. In many spiritual communities, we're told to "just let go" or "just forgive," but rarely shown how. I share the real, grounded processes that helped me.
I pray this meets the eyes and hearts that need it. I built this because I didn't have the support I needed, and I spent years finding my own way through. I'm still learning and still practicing this myself. This platform is my invitation to anyone who feels alone or wants community, and practical resources for their own journey, no matter where they are in life.
